Solubility: Oil-soluble, organic solvents. Dissolve in oil/cool-down phase.
Optimal pH Range: 4.5 – 5.5.
Recommended Usage Rate: 0.1% – 1% for leave-on products (creams, lotions, serums), up to 2% for rinse-off products (soaps).
Stability Tip: Sensitive to light. Store in an airtight container away from light and heat. Use opaque packaging for finished products.
Compatibility: Do not use in conjunction with Alpha Arbutin or AHA (acids) to maintain stability. It has the same mechanism of action as Alpha Arbutin but Activated Resorcinol is more efficient. Acidity of AHA (acids) may affect it's quality and stability. It can be used with Vitamin B3, N-Acetyl Glucosamine without issues.
