AS-40 Surfactant, a high-performance, coconut-derived anionic surfactant, also known as Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate (Alpha Olefin C14-C16). Known for producing a rich, luxurious, and "pillowy" lather, AS-40 is the ideal choice for creating sulfate-free shampoos, body washes, face cleansers, and bubble baths. As a 40% active, pale yellow liquid, it offers superior cleaning properties and excellent viscosity (thickening) capabilities, making it a versatile powerhouse for both beginners and experienced formulators.
