Formulation Guidelines
Recommended Usage Rate: 1% – 10% (up to 15% for heavy conditioning).
Solubility: Oil Soluble.
pH Range: Final product pH should typically be below 4.5 for optimal performance.
How to Use: Add to the oil phase of your formulation. Melt at approximately 60°C–70°C (140°F–158°F).
When formulating with BTMS-50, ensure you heat it in the oil phase until fully melted and combine the oil and water phases at the appropriate temperature (usually around 70°C - 75°C) while stirring vigorously to create a stable emulsion.
STORAGE: Should be stored in cool temperatures in an airtight container away from direct sunlight and moisture.
