• Recommended Usage Rate: 1.0% to 5.0% of your total formulation weight.
• pH Tolerance Range: Most stable and effective within a standard cosmetic pH range of 4.0 to 6.5.
• Temperature Limit: Heat-sensitive. To protect the delicate plant active components, add it during the cool-down phase of processing at or below 40°C (104°F).
• Incorporation Phase: Mix directly into the water phase. In entirely oil-based formulas (like balms or body oils), an emulsifier or solubilizer is required to blend.
• Aesthetic Note: Because this standard version is un-decolorized, it features a natural brown hue that will subtly tint transparent or white formulas a light amber/tan color depending on your usage rate.
