• Temperature Limit: Heat-sensitive. To protect the delicate peptide bonds from breaking down, always add it during the cool-down phase of processing at or below 40°C (104°F).
• Incorporation Phase: Mix directly into the water phase at the end of production. In completely oil-based formulas (like balms or body oils), an emulsifier or solubilizer is required to blend.
• Ingredient Pairing Tip: Works exceptionally well alongside hydrating actives like hyaluronic acid. Avoid formulating it in the same phase as high percentages of direct Alpha Hydroxy Acids (like Glycolic or Lactic acid) unless your finished formula's final pH remains strictly above 4.5.
