Olivem® 1000 MB, a PEG-free, plant-derived oil-in-water (O/W) emulsifier and thickener. Derived from olive oil, this versatile ingredient is designed to create silky-smooth emulsions that deeply moisturize and mimic the skin’s own lipid structure.
With its ability to form liquid crystal structures, Olivem® 1000 MB provides superior skin affinity, improved hydration, and a luxurious, non-soapy after-feel, making it a favorite for clean beauty, organic-certified products, and sensitive skin formulations.
Olivem® 1000 MB is identical to Olivem 1000, but it is manufactured using palm oil that supports the production of certified sustainable palm oil.

Recommended Usage Rate:
Lotions/Serums: 1.5 - 4%
Creams: 3 - 8.5%

Usage Tips:
For best results, heat Olivem® 1000 MB to approximately 75°C-80°C in the oil phase to ensure it is completely melted. It is highly compatible with water-phase thickeners like Xanthan Gum (0.2%) to improve stability.
